Karenahalli
Documenting a whole village, overlay by overlay, with my class.

Our whole class documented an entire village, Kodiyala Karenahalli, about 2,600 people and mostly ragi farms. Built and unbuilt, kutcha and pakka, heights, house types, landmarks and trees, each one as its own overlay in its own colour. The college used it as the benchmark for documentation after us.
This was group work, so I'm not taking all the credit. I was in group 2, and we did site 2 and its street sections. After that we each designed something for the village, which was a good exercise in turning documentation into design.

Our site and its streets
